To preserve both quality and integrity, most of our products are stored in our climate-controlled warehouse in Bordeaux before being ship to Canada.

Eric Tetrault-- President
Eric grew up in a Montreal family surrounded by wine and food. He worked as an art dealer in Montreal for several years, and further developed his love for art and wine. In 2003, he founded Dream Wines in Alberta, and expanded to BC in 2006. Eric got married at Chateau Angludet in Margaux, and has two boys, Nathan and Harry. Although Eric loves Bordeaux, he also has a soft spot for top California Cabernets, Pinot from Burgundy and Champagne. He's also a car enthusiast and can often be found on a race track in the summer months. Eric is a graduate from HEC University in Montreal, International Business.
Brian Gunsten -- Vice President
Growing up in Vancouver, Brian worked in the local restaurant scene and this is where he developed his passion for wine. After completing the WSET program in 2000 he shortly after convinced his girlfriend to make a move to Calgary and try their luck. When he arrived in Calgary, he worked for a couple more restaurants and then for a local wine importer. Attempting his fate with becoming a triple threat he moved into the retail side and ran a couple of top wineshops for a few years.
In 2007, Brian joined Dream Wines. His time in the wine industry has allowed Brian to travel to nearly all wine producing regions around the globe, and to taste the world's best wines. Brian's goal with Dream Wines is to bring the world's best wines to Canada.
Brian is married with two kids, Max and Sofia. His advice for wine lovers out there: "Remember variety is the spice of life and drink more delicious whites, sparkling and rose. Down with the 100 point rating system."
Christie Vaughan-- Alberta Sales
Christie has been part of the Dream Team since 2012. She was born and raised in Nanaimo, BC and has spent her professional career working for local and international restaurants and hotels, such as Walt Disney World and Fairmont. Christie has a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Malaspina University in Nanaimo.
Over the past 10 years, she developed a passion and love for wine. Because of this passion, she went on to complete her Diploma with the International Sommelier Guild and is now a Sommelier. She can usually be seen out and about in the Calgary scene drinking a glass of her favourite Riesling or Pinot Noir.
Jocelyn Morgan-- Alberta Sales
Jocelyn has been working as a sales representative in the wine & spirits industry for 16 years after moving on from the health care sector. She completed the ISG Diploma in 2008, followed by WSET Level 3 in 2016. She belongs to a wine club - the BLB (Blind Leading the Blind) - not only to spend time with a fun group of people but also to continue and empower her knowledge of wine.
Jocelyn's love of wine and travel has taken her all over the world to some remarkable places, including an actual full-on trip around the world 5 years ago. She is always looking forward to the next undiscovered destination or revisiting the special places that stole her heart.
Jocelyn lives in Calgary with her two cats, Walter and Saul. She has a passion for cooking and enjoys hosting weekly Sunday night dinners with her two sons Scott & Shane.
She's often asked about her favourite wine and though that's ever-changing, a flute filled with bubbles will always brighten her day!
Robert Herman-- British Columbia Sales Manager
Robert's hotel restaurant background saw him leading top teams at The Metropolitan and the Loden Hotels in Vancouver, Viceroy Santa Monica in California and Club Intrawest Zihautanejo in Guerrero, Mexico. As a Restaurant Manager and Food and Beverage Director, wine has always been a passion and he acquired his International Sommelier Guild Certificate with an extremely accomplished class in 2002.
Robert has been fortunate to tour many of the world's great wine producing regions and is always searching for small, terroir driven up-and-coming producers and regions. He even has his own wine label, has personally made a couple of his own wines and loves to collect and drink older, classic offerings. He is married with 2 kids, 2 dogs, 3 gerbils and a snake.
TJ Harstine-- British Columbia Sales
Growing up down the road from wine country in Ontario you would think that TJ would have wine in his blood, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
It was only after his first trip to wine country in his early twenties just a short drive from his hometown that he realized the passion that would shape every decision to follow.
TJ immediately switched careers and jumped into a position with The Fairmont Hotels, while studying to begin his education with WSET and The Court of Master Sommelier simultaneously. From there, he moved back to his home province of Ontario and continued his studies while working as the Estate Sommelier at one of Canada's top wineries.
In early 2016, TJ passed the Certified Sommelier exam with the Court of Master sommelier and moved back to Edmonton, shifting focus to the import side of the industry.
TJ also runs his own blog site and YouTube channel "The Modest Somm" trying to spread the love of wine
Chris Helgason-- British Columbia Sales
Born and raised in North Vancouver, Chris quickly found his passion for wine shortly after starting to manage private liquor stores across Vancouver 13 years ago
Having the opportunity to run the Village Liquor Store in West Vancouver for the past nine years has given him great opportunities to further study his passion for fine wines.
With a drive to be continually studying and learning the liquor industry, Chris not only has his WSET certificate, but ISG level 2, Certified Specialist of Spirits, French Wine Scholar, but also Beer Server Cicerone for craft beer as well. With Italian Wine Scholar and Master of Rhone Valley certificates being studied for currently.
When not enjoying spinning classic albums on vinyl, with a glass of Champagne, Riesling or white Burgundy, Chris enjoys running and swimming.
Davor Kovač-- Operations Manager
Davor, a native of former Yugoslavia, is a relative newcomer to the wine industry. Having first discovered his love for wine while in Spain on student exchange in 2006, he knew that his professional road would lead to wine at some point. His experience as a professional is broad, having worked in various leadership roles, including managing supply chain, operations, and sales for a large seafood import and distribution company, as well as consulting for a boutique consultancy firm. Davor is a graduate of UBC with a BComm in Finance/International Business, as well as a Certified Professional Accountant.
Over the past 5 years, Davor's passion for wine has taken him to vineyards in Europe, South America, and almost every region on the Pacific coast. He is a part of wine/supper club with his closest friends. He holds a WSET 2 and plans to continue to further explore his formal wine education.
Davor lives in downtown Vancouver with his wife. He is an avid outdoorsman, sports junkie, and believes that when traveling, you should always try to immerse yourself in the culture.
Stephanie Beattie-- Office Admin
Stephanie recently joined Dream Wines to support the team with administration. She has extensive hospitality and tourism experience with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Diploma in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Her career started at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel and then quickly jumped across the world to Australia where she called it home for 10 years.
Working in sales, real estate and business development at the Hyatt and Rydges Hotels, she was always lured to the beautiful surrounds of wineries nearby. She was offered the opportunity to work at a local cellar door and from there, her passion for wine flourished. Always seeking holidays and day trips to the wine regions around Australia, Stephanie quickly fell in love with the industry and lifestyle.
Stephanie has successfully completed WSET 2 and lives in Lions Bay, British Columbia with her husband and two young children.
