To preserve both quality and integrity, most of our products are stored in our climate-controlled warehouse in Bordeaux before being ship to Canada.

Eric Tetrault-- President
Eric grew up in a Montreal family surrounded by wine and food. He worked as an art dealer in Montreal for several years, and further developed his love for art and wine. In 2003, he founded Dream Wines in Alberta, and expanded to BC in 2006. Eric got married at Chateau Angludet in Margaux, and has two boys, Nathan and Harry. Although Eric loves Bordeaux, he also has a soft spot for top California Cabernets, Pinot from Burgundy and Champagne. He's also a car enthusiast and can often be found on a race track in the summer months. Eric is a graduate from HEC University in Montreal, International Business.
Brian Gunsten -- Vice President
Growing up in Vancouver, Brian worked in the local restaurant scene and this is where he developed his passion for wine. After completing the WSET program in 2000 he shortly after convinced his girlfriend to make a move to Calgary and try their luck. When he arrived in Calgary, he worked for a couple more restaurants and then for a local wine importer. Attempting his fate with becoming a triple threat he moved into the retail side and ran a couple of top wineshops for a few years.
In 2007, Brian joined Dream Wines. His time in the wine industry has allowed Brian to travel to nearly all wine producing regions around the globe, and to taste the world's best wines. Brian's goal with Dream Wines is to bring the world's best wines to Canada.
Brian is married with two kids, Max and Sofia. His advice for wine lovers out there: "Remember variety is the spice of life and drink more delicious whites, sparkling and rose. Down with the 100 point rating system."
Christie Vaughan-- Alberta Sales
Christie is one of our newest additions to the Dream Wines team. She was born and raised in Nanaimo, BC and has spent her professional career working for local and international restaurants and hotels, such as Walt Disney World and Fairmont. Christie has a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Malaspina University in Nanaimo.
Over the past 10 years, she developed a passion and love for wine. Because of this passion, she went on to complete her Diploma with the International Sommelier Guild and is now a Sommelier. She can usually be seen out and about in the Calgary scene drinking a glass of her favourite Riesling or Pinot Noir.
JP Lessard -- Alberta Sales
Born and raised in Quebec city, JP spent most of his 25+ year career within the food and beverage industry. He completed his sommelier studies in Quebec City before moving to Calgary in 1999. Over the past 18 years in Alberta he spent 12 of those with wine agencies and 6 years as restaurant manager. In 2013 JP was selected for the Top 50 of the first season of MasterChef Canada which was filmed in Toronto. JP was one of 26 to receive the coveted white apron. In 2014, JP completed Level 1 of the Sake Sommelier Diploma with John Gautner in Miami.
JP lives in Calgary with his daughters Laila 11 and Luna 7. Besides his lovely girls, wine, food and the mountains are his other love and passion! Oh, and let's not forget...cheese and poutine!
Robert Herman-- British Columbia Sales
Robert's hotel restaurant background saw him leading top teams at The Metropolitan and the Loden Hotels in Vancouver, Viceroy Santa Monica in California and Club Intrawest Zihautanejo in Guerrero, Mexico. As a Restaurant Manager and Food and Beverage Director, wine has always been a passion and he acquired his International Sommelier Guild Certificate with an extremely accomplished class in 2002.
Robert has been fortunate to tour many of the world's great wine producing regions and is always searching for small, terroir driven up-and-coming producers and regions. He even has his own wine label, has personally made a couple of his own wines and loves to collect and drink older, classic offerings. He is married with 2 kids, 2 dogs, 3 gerbils and a snake.
Jennifer D'Aquino-- British Columbia Sales
Jenn joined Dream Wines on January 23, 2017. She is responsible for the Greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island areas with a focus on On Premise, LDB Stores and Fine Wine Boutiques.Jennifer knows food and wine! Her 25+ year hospitality career took her to Shanghai for restaurant consultation; and while in Montreal, Australia, Fiji and Indonesia, Jenn owned and managed catering businesses and restaurants; and enjoyed living on private islands working as a private chef.After returning to University to further her career in PR, Jenn found herself right back into the hospitality industry through wine....good thing, as wine, food, culture, travel and dance are all her passions in life!
For the past six years, Jenn has been selling wine, spirits and beer and has completed her WSET Level 2. She lives in her hometown of Vancouver with her six year old daughter.
Sandrina Saldanha-- Operations Manager
Daughter of a winemaker, Sandrina's practical knowledge in the wine industry started 28 years ago at her family's Blue Grouse Estate Winery. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business, she continued to work as the General Manager of the winery. She later expanded her wine experience as Sommelier, Wine Educator, and Events Manager in Calgary, AB and Vancouver, BC.
Among her many accomplishments in the industry, she hosted a radio show called Wine Wednesday and was a former President of the Vancouver Island Vintners Association. Sandrina was also the Dining Room Instructor and Sommelier of Culinaria Restaurant at the Art Institute's International Culinary School in Vancouver. For several years she was a Wine Educator for both the International Sommelier Guild and The Wines and Spirits Education Trust.
Sandrina has successfully completed both the ISG and the WSET Sommelier Diplomas. She is trilingual with fluency in French, German and English. Sandrina joined the Dream Wines team in 2010 and lives in Vancouver with her husband and their two children.
Stephanie Beattie-- Office Admin
Stephanie recently joined Dream Wines to support the team with administration. She has extensive hospitality and tourism experience with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Diploma in Hotel & Restaurant Management. Her career started at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel and then quickly jumped across the world to Australia where she called it home for 10 years.
Working in sales, real estate and business development at the Hyatt and Rydges Hotels, she was always lured to the beautiful surrounds of wineries nearby. She was offered the opportunity to work at a local cellar door and from there, her passion for wine flourished. Always seeking holidays and day trips to the wine regions around Australia, Stephanie quickly fell in love with the industry and lifestyle.
Stephanie has successfully completed WSET 2 and lives in Lions Bay, British Columbia with her husband and two young children.
